Identify the controllable and uncontrollable elements that Starbucks has encountered in entering global markets.Some of the controllable elements that Starbucks has encounted in the global markets are the product, the price, the place and promotion. Starbucks has a direct promotion benefits for the higher quility product they serve. Like many companies Starbucks also considers of going global, overseas and some of the countries they want to invest in are Japan, Italy, Span, and Germany, and maybe Mexico and Puerto Rico. Starbucks had a few problems in 2001, a mistake that they want to forget, so from each place they want to expand they need to first find out the thetarget market for that location. Some of the incontrollable elements that Starbucks has econted inthe global markets are governemnt polices and regulation which they had to follow to be able to do business. Also, they faced any local competitors who people were more loyal to local brand.
