MODULE 6 CRITICAL THINKING QUESTIONS 2Module 6 Critical Thinking QuestionsList some products in your personal or family "inventory." How do you manage them? (For instance, do you constantly run to the store for milk? Do you throw out a lot of milk because of spoilage?) How might the ideas in Chapter 12 change your way of managing these SKUs?Some products that my wife and I have in our personal family inventory range from printer paper and ink, almond milk, and laundry detergent. We manage them by knowing how much space is available and by usage. When we start to run low and the space is available for purchasing we will make the purchase. The only caveat is that when there is a sale or a very good coupon we will buy a little extra. I have come to find that we usually do not waste much inour household due to good inventory management. For example, milk is not just something to drink, it also can be a raw material used to aid in the creation of a product. A raw material is an input to manufacturing (Collier). This milk will be used as an input if we currently have too much inventory in the house and it is coming up on expiration.
