Democrat Party has been the dominant of mayoral office for many since years where no Republican candidate has ever won. The following are some the candidates for mayor of Houston city. Marty McVey (Democrat) He names himself as a person, who can lead the Houston city administration with Sound business activities. His party’s Platform is strongly built upon observation of the Houston’s city’s current financial crisis brought by large part of an unmanageable pension program, which is worsened by limited revenue or taxes. Although McVey mission and vision for Houston city demands for strong and durable economic development, he promises to encourage and invite international investors into the city.
