FINAL EXAM JOURNALISM 19O FALL, 2005 PROFESSOR COWAN Good afternoon and welcome to a final exam that we hope will give you a chance to learn a bit more about our topics while showing us what you have learned As you will see, there are four essay questions, each of which should take you about 30 - 40 minutes to answer. You must answer the first question but you can answer any two of the following three questions. Be sure you only answer two of the final three questions since we will only read two of them. Remember our discussion of exam taking skills. Be sure to read each question carefully and to answer each part of it. For many students, it helps to spend a few minutes outlining an answer. Don’t spend more than 40 minutes on any question because by doing so, you may have too little time to spend on the others. We have also added a couple of short extra credit questions at the end. To all of you: thanks so much for helping to make this class a fascinating teaching adventure. I hope that it has been as interesting for you as it has been for me. Essay 1
