“Creating an Inspiration Board” Activity What is an Inspiration Board? It is a tool used to help clarify, concentrate and maintain focus on a specific life theme or goal. It is any sort of board in which you display images that represent YOU (what you want to be, do or have in your life (past, present and future). It is your life in pictures! This is also known as a “vision board”. Use the website www.picmonkey.com to create your inspiration board. Step 1: Decide on a theme for your inspiration board. Examples: - Past, Present, Future - You can have a board about a specific theme such as your favorite hobby, sport, family, friends, quotes that inspire you. You can combine words and images in your board. The possibilities are endless. Step 2: Read the article about how to create an inspiration board. - http://imperfectvessel.com/how-to-create-a-vision-board-using-picmonkey/ Step 3: Start gathering digital images (they can be personal pictures or clip art, etc. from the internet) for your inspiration boards. Save the pictures on your computer so you can retrieve them later.
