C ALIFORNIA W ATER P LAN The California Water Plan is a comprehensive statewide water resource planning document that is revised every 5 years or so. It provides the basis for much of the state’s water policy planning and program implementation because it is the overarching template for integrating the many programs and priorities relating to water resources.
