King Solomon’s Mine Name : Dinda Febriani Student Number : 2201415002 King Solomon’s Mines is an action-adventure novels written by H. Rider Haggard. This book first published in 1885. But all new material in this edition of the book whom I borrowed was copyrighted in 1998 by Tom Doherty Associates, Inc and it has 236 pages. The main character in the book named Allan Quatermain. Sir Henry Curtis and his friend Captain John Good asked Allan to accompany them looking younger brother of Sir Henry, who had lost two years ago. His brothe named Neville Curtis, he allegedly desperate to go to Africa after a fight with his brother for a family inheritance. He wanted to find the diamond mines of King Solomon heritage and find the treasure there armed with stories from the past. When he reached Africa, Neville had met with Allan. Allan is a white hunter who is respected in the area of Natal, South Africa. Allan was apparently keep a copy of the map to get to the mine. He obtained this copy of the map from a Portuguese named De Sivra.
