Moore Keaton Moore English 1020 Professor Jones Annotated B b ibliography Annotated Bibliography Sellin, Thorsten. "Culture conflict and crime." American Journal of S s ociology 44.1 (1938): 97- 103. The basic topic of the argument is culture , conflict , and crime. The writer uses s S ociological studies and statistics to develop the argument in the paper. This article uses examples and studies to show that culture conflict can cause crime in the community. “The conflict which occurs when the legal norms of one group are extended over areas formerly not cognizant of them, may be assumed to induce violations of these norms by persons living in the subjected area.” This is an example of how the writer is using historical studies to explain the argument. This article will work well with my paper , because it talks about culture conflict and crime and the purge movies are based off of crime, they make all crime legal for twelve hours to lower the crime rate in the United States. I will need this source to understand the history and statistics of crime so I will be able to explain it well in my paper.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
