Surname 1 SOCIAL NETWORKING Social networking is the act of using the internet as a medium to communicate informally with friends, colleagues, family or just random individuals. The need for social networking has arose due to several factors such as distance and time. It has enabled individuals to keep in touch regardless of whatever may be going on in their lives by making the process of communication easy and convenient. However, like any other establishment, social networking is riddled with its positives and negatives. As much as social networking has been used to keep relations alive, some people have misused this privilege and used it to spread hate and animosity. Some people harbor a lot of negativity within themselves and they use social networks to unleash it upon others. This is majorly because social networks offer anonymity that these people require. A look at the case of Miss America clearly exposes how people can use social networks to bring down others. She is made a joke just because she is of a different descent. The people who belittle her are cowards
