Surname 1 Name Instructor Course Date Denver Ban The Denver camping ban was passed in 2012 and aimed at banning outdoor camping and this meant that the homeless people could no longer sleep on the streets. Private property was also not spared as people were not allowed to camp there as well and questions arose as to whether the law had the welfare of the people in mind or not. The ban does not consider the inadequate amount of affordable houses. The rent for an average two bedroomed house in the US is around $841 which is rather expensive for a citizen getting minimum wage. This law expects those who cannot afford house rent to keep walking predisposing them to freezing during winter. The Act has also led the homeless people to seek shelter in the shelter homes that are not enough, and nothing much has been done to add the number of the shelter homes. The Police already have too much in their hands to start bundling up and chasing homeless people away from the streets. The Act is bound to burden the understaffed police
