Introduction transition: Or in other words I’m ready to teach and inform the class how to make Pho a) Background of Topic: I choose pho as my topic to let class know a little bit about my culture and the dish that has grown to be very popular in America. b) Background of Speaker: I grew up in a Vietnamese house hold where my mother will always cook pho and growing up I learned how to make pho from scratch with my mom’s recipe. c) Audience relevance (“need to know”) connection: what the class should know is that Pho is a “main course” dish, you can marinate the noodle soup to your liking, it’s a healthy meal, and it takes patience to prepare.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
