The happiest time in my life was when I walked across the stage at New BirthChurch; I was graduating from Arabia Mountain High School. I can still remember thefeeling I got when they called my name. I had butterflies in my stomach, and a very shyfeeling walking in front of thousands of people. I once thought I was going to tripwalking in high heels, knowing I didn’t know how to walk in them. Graduating overallwas an achievement for me. Thinking about going to college made me happy in a way,but in another way I thought the work was going to be ten times harder. I didn’t knowwhat college I was going to until the middle of July. When I figured out I was attendingSavannah State, I was very excited, mainly because it was four hours away from home.Even though the accident changed where I attend college, it has not changed my goal tobecome an accountant, to embrace the college learning experience, or to keep pushingeven when it is hard.
