He is able to dissect capitalism enough to realize that the argument of capitalism’s existence as inevitable is untrue. He believes this strive for profit cannot simply be something that is nature to humans. He focuses on the spirit part of capitalism, which he addresses as what makes this economic system possible. I had never thought that values are what drive a system into a new direction, this really exemplifies thepower of an idea.The history of Protestantism and its churches are also explained. I found the fact the Calvinism, Pietism, Methodism, and even Baptism are completely independent from each other, considering Methodism and Baptism are more a part of my life’s experiences. He explained that
