Hayden Smith In the article, “Kelly Ripa Opens Up About What Really Happened with Michael Strahan: ‘People Deserve Respect’” Kelly talks about the importance of respect in the workplace. She expresses her feelings stating that she is happy for her former co-host Michael Strahan, and that she wishes him well; but she also wishes that she had been shown a fair amount of respect and empathy when it came to Michael announcing his departure. The co-host and understandably close friend, was distraught to find out about Michael’s departure from the show at the same time the media and the rest of the world found out. Kelly feels like she and the rest of the Live! crew were left in the dark and are now left with the task to pick up the pieces and try to move on without their beloved co-host. Ripa stated that she felt “betrayed and so hurt” by how the announcement was handled and that there was a massive lack of communication and respect given to her leading up to the announcement. She assures everyone that she is fine and that the show is going to continue being successful but does not deny that she was scared about what would happen to her and the rest of the Live! crew upon Michael’s departure.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
