Dig Deep = Review educational websites, interview people for new research, or search through business articles Avoid info. Overlooked. = An audience will remember something if you remove it from them quickly. Practice Delivery = Practice how you will present your information to the audience in the slide show so that it keeps their attention. Forget Comedy = No one’s here for a comedy show so don’t use it. Pick Powerful Props = Small props are better than too many and big ones. Minimize You = Show and tell them what you can offer them and nothing about the company you are from. Speak the Language = Speak to the audience as the people they are. Don’t talk to them like you would a 4 year old. Act as if you were in their shoes. Simple Slides = Make sure your slides show what you are talking about and not too flashy.
