But in actuality, GMO’s are nothing to fear and should, in fact beencouraged.Increasing production may be a bothersome thought to many, they may believewe are choosing quantity over quality. People with these views are simply privileged andignorant. There are thousands of hungry people whom genetically engineered foodshave saved, increased production is necessary for the population the human race has.Genetic engineering is only done to benefit the foods, they are made nutrient richand in many cases safer to eat. GMO’s are almost never harmful to a consumer.GMO’s are economically beneficial.
