Michelle Abbott 810803787 BCOR-1010-113 The housing slump that is occurring in the housing market today is having many effects on society as a whole. With a raise of home loans, the prices of homes are decreasing as the inventory of unsold homes is increasing. This occurrence is affecting the production of houses by restricting builders to spend a lot of money on construction materials. The slump has also “caused a decline in revenue from real-estate transaction taxes, which are based on sales prices” (WSJ pg. A11). Many homeowners are becoming upset as their property taxes are rising as the market price for houses decline. Many changes are occurring in order to compensate for the housing slump, and these types of changes are upsetting people all over the nation. I believe that the actions that are being taken by the budget officials are unethical in the business world. The corporate citizenship of these businesses are not as high as they should be in order to be a successful and ethical
