During the summer of 2015, I went to visit my uncle whowas deployed in the Military police in Muzaffarabad, Pakistan. As a Military Police, he was tasked with security on convoys. There were different people involved in the convoy however it all depended on what type of mission it was. The two most important people convoy always ha was a canine and its handler along with a corpsman who was also called a medic. One day, when were driving driving along a solitary road, a person was spotted up running a at a distance of .5 mile from us. The convoy proceeded slowly andstopped about a half mile back from where the man was thought to be running from.The canine handler made it to get out of his vehicle and my uncle provided cover. In the meant time the dog sweptthe road and located an explosive device along the road side. I was completely astonished by this incident and was very much surperised how the German Shepard Dog named Johny saved the lives of the men on the convoy. But the story did not come to an end here, instead it had just started. Johny showed up a change in his behaviour and began tracking the man who we all saw running away from this spot. The convoy
