Topics include: the acoustic properties of sound, consonance and dissonance, pitch perception, loudness, timbre, scales and tonality, musical key-finding, melodic organization, musical expectancy, time, rhythm, meter, music performance, improvisation, aesthetics, and neurological aspects of music perception and performance.
