Aidan Faulds Mrs. Rasciauskas English March 4, 2017 Summative Activity: “A Mother’s Blue Bowl” The biographical essay “A Mother’s Blue Bowl,” was a very well structured piece of writing. This is a relatable story, people have had little items from their childhoods that bring back and trigger warm memories of the protection and coziness they had in their homes. The narrator in this essay in 1 st person and gave a perfect structure to the story. Her intro paragraph mainly pointed at how this big blue bowl served as a “cocoon of memories” and how it was given to her as a gift from her mother days before she had a massive stroke. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
