Ronald Reagan was the President of the United States from the year 1981 to 1989. During his years as president, Reagan accomplished many things in the domestic and the foreign policies that he implemented.The purpose of Ronald Reagan's domestic policy was to see a reduction of money that the government spent, reduce the tax rates on income and capital, and to get a better handle on how money was being spent to the reduce the risks of inflation. The day that Ronald Reagan won the presidential election, the perspective of the United States' political view of the economic status began to change drastically. Reagan implemented a new economic policy named "Reaganomics," also known as supply sided economics.
