BONUS: Works - Cited Practice – WORTH 20pts The MLA style involves many guidelines and rules about documentation. To make some sense of these rules, answer these questions: What is the essential logic of the MLA system? In other words, what does the MLA hope to accomplish with these rules? The MLA aims to make documentation clear and useful to the reader. It provides the least amount of information needed for your reader to identify the source in a work. Also, MLA uses signal phrases and parenthetical references to set off source material from your own thinking and discussion. MLA style offers a basic pattern that researchers can follow, allowing them to make judgement about what to include.
