Be able to determine the various business deductions available to sole proprietorships 3. Be able to calculate itemized deductions available to individuals 4. Be able to determine various tax credits available to individuals and sole-proprietorship 5. Be able to prepare tax returns for individuals TEACHING METHOD: Most of the class time will be devoted to discussion of concepts and solving homework problems. The students will be required to complete tax returns and all these tax returns will be done on actual Internal Revenue Service forms.
