Government 2302 What national security policies seem to be most necessary for our President to respond to at the present time? Why? The national security policies that seem to be most necessary for our President to respond to at the present time are the threats which pose the biggest problems, such as different types of terrorism and the prices of oil. An example of one of the different types of terrorism would be terrorists claiming they will blow up a building, poisoning the American water supply, or hacking into the Federal Government’s database. I believe that in our era, national securities for the president has become a number one priority ever since the September 11 attacks. With the increased worries of terrorist attacks, the president has to make more additions to the nation’s security. I remember before September 11 there were less concerns for our own national security policies. Examples of this would be increased security in transportation, public places, and in government
