Waller 1 Theatre Theatre is a combination of people, ideas, and the works of art that emanate from their collaboration. People often think of theatre as a play or production with a large audience in a building. However, the only requirements for a theatre are the audience and performers. In fact, just the other day I was in a restaurant when theatre took place. I was at a local seafood restaurant where I saw a waiter approaching a table. There was only one man sitting at the table. The waiter said “Hello” and introduced himself. “My name is Joe and I will be your waiter today, how are you doing today?”, he said to the man. The man replied, “Hi Joe, my name is Dave. I am doing just fine today how about yourself?” Joe replied, “I am doing great! Can I go ahead and get you started out with something to drink?” Dave then answered, “You sure can; I’ll have a diet Coke.” “OK”, Joe declares, then asks Dave if he would like any appetizers. Dave takes a moment and decides on the oysters. A few minutes passed then Joe returned with Dave’s diet Coke and oysters.
