Cecilia Araiza Writing 90 Bill Bogart              Final Draft Before you judge someone make sure you're perfect, before you assume make  sure you’re always right and never wrong. This valuable lesson is interpreted in both in  “A Priceless Lesson in Humility” by Felipe Morales and “Every Person Deserves Re- spect” by Vint Cerf. Both authors introduce a striking similar misjudgment towards an in- dividual. However, as each essay progress there is a huge contrast between how they  misjudge, their success, and their beliefs. To begin with, both authors begin with a misjudgment that makes them reassess  themselves.Felipe Morales judges without taking a second look, where as Vint Cerf as- sumes and then finds out before he makes his final judgement. In “A Priceless Lesson  in Humility”, Felipe Morales is quick to judge an elderly, blind lady without even glancing at her he automatically hands her money, thinking she was a beggar. The lady then  says that she does not want his money, at that very moment Felipe had realized what  he had done. “  I acted with prejudice — I judged another person simply for what I as- sumed she had to be.I hated what I saw in myself. This incident re-awakened my core  belief. It reaffirmed that I believe in humility, even though I'd lost it for a moment”. This

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
