Comm 118 Midterm 18 October 2013 Little Red Riding Hood Once upon a time there was a little girl that constantly presented the most caring, and loving face to everyone in the town . Therefore everyone loved her, but no one loved her as much as her grandmother. Once her grandmother gave her a little red velvet coat, and she loved it so much she never took it off. Thus the girl became Little Red Riding Hood. One day Little Red’s mother gave her a basket with a piece of cake and bottle of wine in it. “Little Red Riding Hood, go take this to your grandmother. She is feeling ill and this will surely make her feel better. Walk nice and quietly and don’t fall off the path!” she says to her daughter. “And don’t forget to be polite and say ‘Good Morning’!” her mother adds because of the grandmother’s higher power due to her age. Despite this possibly affecting her negative face because of the job she’s been given, Little Red replies “Don’t worry mother I will be very careful!” as she takes the basket and skips off into the woods. After traveling a short distance, Little Red comes across a wicked wolf. The wolf is an expert at face-work, and therefore shows a kind, innocent face to the little girl.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
