This was elicited from her before Bridges was ever a suspect...that's why this evidence was probative...if she gave a description that accurately describes Bridges place and it was before the grownups were on to Bridges it's clean (not subject to suggestion)...but the question is is it hearsay? Court views this evidence as analogous to the following: Carpet threads, soil in her shoes that matches the soil in his garden...this description is a trace left in her mind by having been in the place, just like a physical trace on the outside of her person that shows she was in that place.... -Trying to use trace evidence: evidence in her mind of analogous to carpet fibers, etc. They also say, this wasn't offered to prove the matter asserted, not offered to prove what was in and what were features in Bridges house, this was only offered to show she had knowledge what was in Bridges's place....
