Alexandra Zavala AP English Literature Mrs. Willden 5 October, 2016 Regents Scholarships Prompts Prompt 1) Describe your plans for your college education, giving specific details that describe what led you to your educational goals. I plan to attend the University of New Mexico after high school graduation and continuing the course set I got from Eastern New Mexico University of Roswell class director while taking the dual enrollment classes offered. At UNM I plan on living in the scholar’s wing of Hokona Hall so that I may be surrounded by people who share my vision of wanting to succeed in school, and achieve their goals or dreams. I will go into Pre-Med and prepare for medical school and after passing the MCAT, I will take a four-year anesthesiology residency with an internship I plan to get from one of the many opportunities through UNM’s Medical program, and then become licensed to practice medicine. My AVID class is what led to my educational goals, the raised the expectations I had for myself and helped me see the bigger picture. The class pushed me to always do better and to exceed my own expectations. I took all the AP and honor courses I could in preparation for college. I have always taken my education very seriously, as I know the impact my choices can have on future jobs, income, and can decide whether I live comfortably or live paycheck to paycheck twenty to thirty years from now. I know

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
