In-N-Out Case Study 1. Why do some business analysts say that In-N-Out's business model is "counter intuitive"? Business analysts say In-N-Out has a counter-intuitive business model due to the fact that they don’t follow the lead of other businesses like McDonald’s who make decisions that can make them quick money. They refuse to franchise in order to maintain their goals and live up to their motto which is viewed as odd considering they could multiply their income and boost their overall growth worldwide. 2. Why is it said that In-N-Out Burger has a type of "cult following"? In-N-Out is said to have a cult-following because they have customers that are so loyal to the company that they have developed tendencies that are similar to those who follow leaders. They spend their time learning the secret menus items, finding new locations, boosting the company’s image, and spending the time to actually leave criticism and reviews in comparison to other companies’ patrons who don’t take the time to do so.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
