1 Announcements • Project 2 due Today • Homework 3 will be posted today – Due Tue., Mar 4, 10:00pm • Project 3 will be posted today – Due Tue., Mar 26, 10:00pm, but don’t delay starting! – If you need a partner, come up to front of room during reak after class and/or post to newsgroup ECE/CS 314 break, after class, and/or post to newsgroup • Prelim 1 – March 13 @ 7:30pm, place TBD Academic Integrity Academic Conduct (from Syllabus) efer to ornell University’s Code of Academic – Refer to Cornell University s Code of Academic Integrity when in doubt. Possession and/or use of another group’s code, past or present, is strictly prohibited. It is also the student’s responsibility to protect his or her work from unauthorized access. For example, do not discard copies of your programs in public places. Students implicated in cheating will ceive a grade of “F” for the course and disciplinary ECE/CS 314 receive a grade of F for the course, and disciplinary action may ensue with the Cornell Academic Integrity Board. We will not be sympathetic to claims of ignorance or misunderstanding of the rules. Academic Integrity • On the homework assignments it explicitly says: Homework Assignments are done dividually 2. Homework Assignments are done individually without calculators. • It is a violation of academic integrity to: – Copy another students homework – Share your homework with other students ollaborate n the homework ECE/CS 314 Collaborate on the homework – Share project code with other groups – Use solution sets from previous semesters Talk Announcement • AMD Senior Fellow Chuck Moore • "Accelerated Computing in the Multi-core Era" • It's this Tuesday (today) 5:30pm in Phillips 101. here will be free pizza and drinks and a ECE/CS 314 • There will be free pizza and drinks, and a Nintendo Wii will be raffled off.
