Leather 1 Critical Analysis Essay Conclusion HW 2-27-08 The essay very much succeeded in fulfilling its purpose. The purpose being, to make people think about why today’s children connect to today’s profane music, instead of asking what effects do today’s music have on the kids. The style of writing is a made- for-journalism type as there is no set structure or formal use of grammar. The author’s voice came from that of a worried mother. Her tone though, is of a very liberal “out-of- the-box” type of thinker. Although she seemed to be a forty year old soccer mom, the way she came off was defending the contrary of what most soccer moms believe. Unformatted text preview: fantastic piece of writing. The purpose of the article is to educate people about the advantages of being a stay-at-home-dad (SAHD). The author did not fulfill his purpose. He did not give enough conclusive evidence on why or why not it’s beneficial. The article was well written from a grammatical standpoint but, it didn’t leap through any hoops to add something to the formula. The style of the article was very academic as it had a basic introduction, body, and conclusion structure. The voice of the essay was persuasive. It was a SAHD trying to convince other people to be a SAHD. This makes for a very biased tone....
