The leadingcorporations across the globe have had to develop systems to create a culture of innovation, which these systems are actually innovations in of themselves, and to keep this culture growing and adapting to the ever changing world. These systems and practices have helped several major corporations, like: P&G, Apple, and Whirlpool, become three of the world’s leaders in innovativepractices. In each of these organization’s innovation system, there are processes and systems that work to support that innovation, enable the corporation to capitalize on intrapreneurship and innovation, and help to prevent issues that may prohibit or stifle innovation and intrapreneurship.Proctor & Gamble, one major company on the leading edge of innovation, had a somewhat different approach to induce more innovation and intrapreneurship than Apple and Google. Their chairman, Alan Lafley, is on the hook to produce several billion dollars of new revenue each year. That is rather extreme motivation for a chairman to do what is needed for the growth of the business and more importantly, job security!
