Final Exam Study Guide The purpose of the final exam is to determine how well you have assimilated the learning objectives of the accreditation board, the department, and the instructor. Accreditation is evidence that you are receiving a high quality learning experience in the Department of Biomedical Engineering here at Texas A&M. Our department is unique, and has unique goals and objectives. These objectives (and the ability to achieve them), are evaluated by the accreditation board. The instructors here are also unique, with individual teaching style and course objectives. The creditability of the instructors and their objectives is validated by the department. So, in honoring the objectives of the department (which honor the objectives of the accreditation board), I established objectives that will be tested in the following manner: I. You will be asked multiple choice, matching, and/or fill-in-the-blank questions related to some of the following concepts: a. Biomechanics b. Mechanobiology
