COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course stresses swing motion and the basic fundamentals. Techniques of the full swing and the short game are presented. Rules of play and etiquette are covered. Students who shoot 115 or less for 18 holes are not eligible for this beginner course. COURSE OBJECTIVES: 1. Learn basic rules, etiquette, terminology, and necessary equipment of the game of golf. 2. Learn basic techniques of the golf swing and stance. 3. Learn practice drills to enable you to continue to learn the game of golf outside of class. DRESS: Comfortable, casual clothing. Flat-soled shoes, tennis shoes, or golf shoes. No boots and/or sandals are allowed. You will be asked to leave class and not receive credit for the day if not properly dressed. ATTENDANCE: 1. Class will NEVER be cancelled.
