Asian American Art For my Asian American art I decided to look at architecture because it is something different from all the other arts I have looked at this semester and I figured this is something that Asian countries are known for, their interesting and beautiful architecture and cities. I began by looking at http://falcon.jmu.edu/~ramseyil/asiabio.htm where i looked more into designs and buildings done by Ieoh Ming Pei. Pei was born and raised in China, but moved to the United States to study architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Shortly after receiving his bachelors in architecture he went to the Harvard Graduate School of Design where Pei got his masters in architecture as well. Pei has designed many buildings throughout the United States including the National Gallery of Art (Washington DC), the Bank of China (Hong Kong), and the Creative Artists Agency Headquarters (Beverly Hills, California.) The first building that I had the chance to look at was the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
