Radhika Arora 109 Triphammer Road Ithaca, NY, 1480 Liane Anderson Insurance Adjuster ABC Insurance 123 Main Street Ithaca, NY, 14850 Dear Liane Anderson: This letter is to appeal the settlement amount of $7000 given as fair market value of my 2000 Jeep Wrangler, vin #35467898756789. I am challenging this settlement amount due to the fact that I believe (and have evidence to support my claim) that the amount you are offering is not the market value for my car. As you stated in your letter, some vital facts about my car are that it has 48,000 miles on it, and is in very good physical condition. I have researched more than one source, and have found that the fair market value of my car is much higher than the $7,000 you are providing. According to the Kelly Blue Book, my car would sell to a private dealer for about $8,085. I also consulted my local newspaper to see what was being offered by other people for the same year, make and model. As you can see from the attached

I urge you to reevaluate my compensation amount. I currently am a student at Cornell University, and due to my limited income, I work. My job is not near campus and therefore a car is vital to my life. I will need to get a new car immediately and as you know, good used cars are hard to find in low price ranges. I wish to resolve this issue as soon as possible. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to get in touch with me. My number is 945-325-0987. Thank you so much for your time and effort, and have a great day Sincerely, Radhika Arora...
