oit Instructional Media Lab Instructional Media Lab Adobe Flash CS Troubleshooting When you manipulate a shape or a symbol If you are making a Movie clip or Graphic inside another symbol, make sure you are in the right “Scene”. All your scenes are located under the timeline. Also if you are working on a big project, it is always a good idea to give names that would make sense to you. Don’t put names like “ball 1”, “ball 2”,…etc for your symbols. Also it looks better when your objects are lined up or at exact positions. To put your objects in exact position use the coordinates in your properties tab. About making buttons First of all don’t forget that it is a button. It looks better when it is in a reasonable size and elegant, especially when you deal with websites or presentations. When you create websites and you include flash buttons in it, make sure you have a copy of it made in
