Reading Goals: To develop your analytical framework for this class by refining your working definitions of rhetoric and culture. Instructions: Please read pages xi-40 of your book and pull the ideas that help you develop your positions on particular topics. You may use the template below or develop another mode to present your working ideas. 1. Write your working definitions across the top of the table 2. In the first column, write one portion of your definition to link to a quote 3. In the second column, write the quote you’ve selected. 4. In the third column, tell us what words or phrases in the quote help you develop your definition. 5. Finish by writing a revised definition of rhetoric and culture at the bottom of the table.
