MBTI Assessment Outcomes MBTI Assessment OutcomesPersonalities of team members can have a large direct, and indirect, impact on the performance, effectiveness, and efficiency of a team of individuals working towards a specific goal together. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a famous and credible personality testthat determines a person’s personality type. By analyzing the personality test results of each teammember, one can gain better perspectives on how to improve their working relationships with other members. Additionally, the assignment of specific roles and duties can be guided by these results. The MBTI results for my own personality as well as my assigned team members are useful for improving team efficiency and effectiveness.The Myers-Briggs Type IndicatorThe MBTI is one of the most widely used personality tests available today. The test asks questions to evaluate four specific psychological functions; sensation, intuition, feeling, and thinking (Johnson, 1992). Depending on how an individual answers the questions, a combinationof four letters will be offered as their result. There is a total of 16 different combinations of letter outcomes for the MBTI (Johnson, 1992). The letter combinations will describe whether a person is more extroverted or introverted. Additionally, it will describe if they make decisions based off of sensation or intuition, and thinking or feeling. Lastly, it will show if they enjoy living through judgement or perception. The varied 16 personality types encompass the dynamic schemes humans rely upon to make decisions.
