Nancy Dorset Sean Martin I think the most important laws passed in the mines are the ones about the gases. The laws they passed help save the lives of many men in deep mines. The laws stopped miners from smoking underground and from bring lighter cell phones and other stuff that can cause a spark to ignite the gases. It makes are jobs a lot safer. I think all the gases laws will make working in the mines a lot safer as they do more studies. I hope on day we can find a way to get all the gases down to almost nothing and that there would be no more big accidents any more....
