America's Age of Imperialism How did American foreign policy become more interventionist (aggressive) from the 1890s into the twentieth century? In all actuality, a large number of the reasons the intrusion occurred still exist today due to the activities the US caters too. For instance, this is the period in US history in which the best measure of equipping occurred in the American military, to the point where when World War I began, the US was about on an even "playing-field" as whatever was left of the European powers. America’s outside approach got to be more forceful by giving a method to secure and push its diversions all through the world. America seen that the Europeans were exceptionally essential in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. The US was actively seeking out new territories in which to expand and was not afraid to use military might to take what it wanted. (2001) What issues led to the Filipino Insurrection? How was this conflict perceived in the United States? The United States had recently battled and won a war with Spain, and, as a prize, was awarded "ownership" of the Philippines, which had awhile ago been a Spanish ownership.
