COMPETITIVE PROFILE MATRIX FOR HERSHEY COMPANY 2 Competitive Profile Matrix for Hershey Company Competitive Profile Matrix (CPM) is a tool for strategic analysis that various stakeholders in an organization use to evaluate the performance of the major industry rivals based on their strengths and weaknesses (Sohel, Rahman & Uddin, 2014). For instance, the management needs to understand the competitive environment within which it operates to develop strategies that ensure its remains stable in the market. As a strategic tool, CPM makes it easier for the stakeholders to compare the competitor’s performance in the industry (Hitt, Ireland & Hoskisson, 2012). Hershey is a chocolate company that offers different products to its customers distributed across the globe.
