Chem 057 Handout #1 J.Walcott Fall 2007 Chemistry 057 Course Information Fall 2007 Chem 057 Staff Instructor: Mrs. Jane Walcott Office: 156 Baker Lab. e-mail: [email protected] Phone: 255-4529 Tutors: To be announced Course Schedule: Review Sessions: Monday evenings, 7:30 – 8:45 p.m. Baker 200 The first session will be held August 27 th , 2007. There will be no session on 10/8 (Fall Break) or 11/26 (Thanksgiving Break). Weeks of Tuesday pre-lims we will meet on Sunday rather than Monday. Time and place to be announced. Office Hours: Office hours are held in Room 157 (or 156) Baker Lab. A schedule of office hours will be posted on the door of Baker 157 and on the Chem 057 web site as soon as it is finalized. For week of 8/27 only: Tues., 8/28 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Fri., 8/31 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Chem 057 Course Components: Review Sessions: Each Monday evening we will review the material covered the previous week in the Chem 057 lectures. Review guides and course handouts will be distributed in class and found in Baker 157. They may also be found on the 057 web site : http://blackboard.cornell.edu/ page 1
