If I were to describe bioengineering to someone not from a scientific background I would describe it as a science helping to improve the lives of others through different medical devices and technologies. It is a type of science that helps engineer the medical miracles such as artificial tissues and limbs, hearing aids, and pacemakers. I have had a limited background in biology. I took elementary school biology as well as college prep biology in high school. Other than that I have nt been really fully introduced to the wide range of biology. On the other hand, I have had a thorough introduction to mathematics. I have studied high school algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and single variable calculus. I would like answered for me: What career options are available with a B.S. in Bioengineering, and Can a Bioengineer study abroad without delaying graduation...
