Moving away from individualism, moving toward the social (other) o I am who people see me as. The looking glass self      –  o Internal/ individualistic perception of being o Solipsism – The view or theory that the self is all that can be know to  exist.  Internal image – Emotional Judgment  Pride or shame of internal image  Implied Objective  Self o Getting outside of ourselves to try to see ourselves from other’s sight.  o Empathize o Ironic self perspective  Things aren’t always what they seem. Earnest self
