Competitors: Although PTSC is currently the leading oil and gas contractor in Vietnam and has gained widespread prestige within the region. However, in the world, competition in the oil and gas industry is intense, and many of our competitors have greater financial, technological and other resources than we do, which may adversely affect our ability to compete. Nowadays, there are many EPCI contractors working in Oil and Gas facility field, especially some of them have long history and reputation along with human resourse talent and competent, such as Mc Dermott, Aker, Worley Parson…Hence, this create the big challenge for us in project bidding progress. New Entrants: Although there are emerging new companies as EPCI contractors in oil & gas field, there is a low risk from potential entrants, since a lot of resources and time are necessary to build a strong and reputable EPCI contractor. Hence, the entry barriers are high enough.
