Ethics Factual Scenario for Program Assessment Consumer Lending Corp creates loans for consumers. The stakeholders are corporate management, local office managers, state managers, and regional managers. The stakeholders currently stand to make money with their aggressive techniques at least in the short term. Looking at the discussion tree we see that the current practices are legal and they maximize stakeholder value as long as consumers are paying back their loans at least in part. The stakeholders make money based on the amount of loans that are approved and based on keeping loans out of delinquency status. The next step is to look at the ethical value of this practice. If we look at utilitarianism then we are looking for the greatest happiness for the greatest number of people. Initially our customers are happy because they get a loan. However we push for our customers to take on more debt than they can handle so they are unhappy when they struggle to be able to pay off their loan. The employees and stakeholders are happy because they benefit from giving out higher loans

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
