Brooke Oakley I interviewed my cousin, Erin Childress. She was here visiting us over the weekend, from her home in Virginia. Erin is also sixteen and she is very smart. In fact she is the number one student in her class. I felt that in order to accomplish this she must have an excellent memory. In addition to being a great student, she plays the violin in her schools orchestra. When her school does concerts, sometimes she does solo pieces. I asked her how does she remember her musical pieces because sometimes it is a requirement that she learn to play her pieces by heart. She told me that the best way to remember any music piece or anything in general,, is to just practice. For music just practice the music pieces over and over again. She also uses this approach in her schoolwork as well. She studies a lot. I know some people have trouble studying. Well, find a way that makes you comfortable. Some people study better if they have peace and quiet. Some people like to listen to music while they study. It really depends on the person.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
