Courtney Rojas 3-27-17 Sociology 1 Professor Johnson CRN# 10610 What do I see as Happiness? I’d say most people strive to reach the point of happiness in their lives. After viewing the video “The Pursuit of happiness” I had to reevaluate what I defined as happy. Some people make material things their indicator of happiness but I wasn't sure what it was for me. While viewing the video I felt like I wanted to move to Denmark to be happy. The financial perks in Denmark that were mentioned in the video appealed to me and sound like great attributes to living there. As the video went on I wondered “What do I see as happiness? Since it’s clear happy is defined differently for everyone and it isn’t just free college. People from Denmark might not think that the “American Dream” is dependable but as long as you're not competing for the greener grass it seems perfect for me. In my opinion, the “American Dream” is a representation of success and stability which are great influences on happiness. The video was easy for me to relate to when it talked about content people because I
